TCNJ has a whole station in the dining hall dedicated to vegan food called Vegan Loop. I’ve had an awesome vegan omelet there made with chickpea flour. Every station has at least 1 vegan option, usually veggies. The salad bar has the usual veggies and beans, including hummus. They have a vegan pizza daily. They always have a vegan chili at the soup station. They have soy & almond milk, plus if you look in My Zone, they also carry a mix of oat milk, flax milk, or ripple, along with some non-dairy yogurts. Some of the breads they have in My Zone are “accidentally vegan” since they are free of the 8 major allergens. As for desserts, yes most desserts in the bakery have milk & eggs, but the c-store carries vegan ice cream, and my absolute favorite Vegan Rob’s!

TCNJ has an all vegan station in their main dining hall and it’s amazing. Vegan options all day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including the entree of the day, omelets, and burgers. And that’s all at one station aka not counting the vegan options at the other stations in the dining hall. Very impressed.

Even though TCNJ has at least some vegan options, their nondairy milk dispensers have been empty (at least when I use them), nondairy butter has no nutritional info, and also has mislabeled foods. Sandwich options are limited (they have vegan chicken salad and vegan cheese) because if they don’t have the accidentally vegan bread you cannot eat from there (not to mention they close this station early so it’s not always available). Also, whenever you ask an employee for a vegan option, they seem bothered and unfriendly. There is one little bag of cookies you can get for dessert but it tastes like cardboard, which is crap compared to all the sweets they make for non vegans. At the student center, the sandwich station labels all of their bread vegan but last year I was told they have honey in some so watch out for that. Their new ramen/grain bowl station has no vegan broth. The staff at the pasta station have no knowledge of what’s in their sauces, so if you have questions you’ll have to ask the dietitian. When I asked the dietitian last year for help, she basically provided me a list of vegetables. Rice always seems to have eggs or milk in it for some stupid reason. Not to mention, each semester the meal plan is over $2000. So, you basically are overpaying for limited options. It’s actual theft. The fact that this school has an A rating is a slap in the face for the amount of trouble I’ve had eating here.

TCNJ actually does advertise their vegan options, does have a silk dispenser and offers soy milk at the cafes, and we do meatless Mondays.
