Over my 4 years at Marymount Manhattan College, the vegetarian and vegan options went from above average to great. Many students started to complain that they were bored with limited veggie options, since the cafeteria and student body is very small. MMC then implemented a “Vegan Thursday”, which featured protein substitutes and many delicious and unique recipes. On other days, they usually always have hot meal options that can be made without meat. Every day there is also always a pasta station, large salad bar selection, veggie burgers, made to order sandwiches, soups, veggie sushi and more! Marymount Manhattan is a very diverse community, and the school has really done well at responding to student needs. The school just started a contract with a new food company, so I’m sure they will score an A in the upcoming years!
